Contact Membership is just £6.00 per year. All of our committee members would be delighted to welcome you. Key members of the Conservation Society can offer help, advice and support to Watchet residents who are considering building work in the town. This may be particularly useful for buildings in the Conservation Area, listed buildings, other buildings of historic or architectural interest or buildings in prominent locations. Members may be able to advise on planning matters, use of appropriate materials and construction methods, useful contacts etc. The Society’s Case Officer monitors all planning applications within the town and makes observations to West Somerset Council when appropriate. The Committee of the Society would be pleased to hear from any Watchet residents who own or know of buildings with features that are of particular architectural or historical interest.
